You can monitor your Google Home Graph API quotas to prevent service
disruptions and verify the reliability of your integration. Ignoring quota
usage can result in failure to call for API functions like ReportState
and
impact users' experiences.
If you reach your quota limit, you can increase it by reaching out to ha-certification@google.com. See HomeGraph API limits for more information.
View metrics
Navigate to your Google Cloud project console, select APIs & Services from the left menu bar, and then click Enabled APIs & services.
This page shows the Home Graph APIs and services enabled in your project. Click HomeGraph API.
In this view, you can monitor traffic, response codes, and other metrics. You can also filter by method and identify the most prevalent errors.
View quota and set up alerts
To find details on the Home Graph API's current quota and usage, go to the Quotas & System Limits tab.
It is highly recommended that you set up an alert to receive notifications regarding quota usage. See the Send notifications request to Google section for more information.
The default quota notification triggers at 80%. You can edit this number by clicking Customize alert policy.
After selecting your notification method, click OK.
